Job Summary:

Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their Pietermaritzburg office. This is a leadership role within a well-established national accounting and audit firm, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments. The role requires a dynamic individual who can drive quality control, staff development, business growth, and client satisfaction, while contributing to the firm’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level management across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments nationally
• Drive business development and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy
• Review, approve, and sign off on all financial reports
• Oversee and enforce quality control standards throughout the firm
• Supervise, mentor, and manage training and development of staff
• Monitor and manage branch revenue targets and performance metrics
• Lead and implement various projects across departments
• Act as, or be willing to act as, a SAICA Training Officer
• Maintain and grow an existing client portfolio (preferred)

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA)
• Must be a Registered Auditor (Assurance)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm
