Position Title: Controller: Financial Services

Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Controller for the Financial Services to join their team in Howick. This role is responsible for managing credit risk and supporting financial operations within a specified portfolio. The successful candidate will evaluate credit applications, manage debtors' accounts, and provide financial insight through regular reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to a dynamic and growing finance team.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma (Finance or related field)
• Membership with the Institute for Credit Management (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in credit control or financial services
• Strong numeracy skills and computer literacy (experience with financial systems advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and present monthly reports on the debtors' book
• Perform credit control and follow-up on outstanding accounts (both monthly and seasonal)
• Assess and process new credit applications
• Respond to internal and external queries related to credit and accounts
• Evaluate and process applications for credit facilities
• Establish and manage appropriate security measures for accounts
• Reconcile debtors' accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Support office and regional administration tasks
• Assist with ad hoc duties related to finance and credit
