Job Description

Our client, a well-established financial services firm is urgently seeking a Finance Manager to join their Bellville.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations and month-end processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Manage VAT submissions and coordinate the annual audit process
  • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management (Group FM and CFO)
  • Lead and mentor junior finance staff, ensuring team efficiency and performance
  • Maintain internal controls and support compliance requirements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting within group deadlines
  • Support process improvements and implement best practices in finance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified CA(SA) with Articles completed and at least 2 years post-audit experience
  • BCom Accounting/Finance degree essential
  • Experience with VAT and annual audits
  • No insurance industry experience required (but a plus)
  • Comfortable working in a finance environment outside insurance is welcome
  • Caseware experience beneficial but not mandatory
  • EE candidate (African) preferred – management motivation possible if
