Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to Hire a Finance Administrator to join their team. The Finance Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the finance department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial data, maintaining reconciliations, and assisting with general accounting duties. This role is key in facilitating smooth financial operations, cost allocations, and compliance with statutory reporting requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure while using accounting software (preferably QuickBooks) and intermediate-level Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly capturing of staff data for cost allocations
  • Capturing and coding of reimbursement expenses
  • Processing weekly wages for two entities
  • Completing and submitting BIBC (Building Industries Bargaining Council) benefit reports for two entities
  • Performing creditor reconciliations
  • Capturing and allocating stock for costing purposes
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Assisting with the purchase order process
  • Capturing supplier invoices accurately and timely
  • Posting month-end transactions to QuickBooks
  • Processing monthly general journal entries
  • Reconciling intercompany loan accounts
  • Assisting in resolving discrepancies on sales reports
  • Ensuring all invoices comply with VAT regulations
  • Performing general administrative tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting
  • A diploma or certificate in Accounting (advantageous)
  • At least 2 years’ reconciliation experience in a finance department (advantageous)
  • Experience using bookkeeping/accounting software, preferably QuickBooks

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Honest and trustworthy with strong professional integrity
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
