Hire Resolve’s client is a leading company in the manufacturing industry and is currently seeking a qualified Crane Technician to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various types of cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs on mobile, tower, and overhead cranes

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and manuals

• Inspect crane components and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Replace worn or defective parts and test equipment for proper operation

• Document all services and repairs in compliance with company procedures

• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime

• Travel to client sites as needed for on-site crane servicing

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification or trade certification in mechanical or electrical fields

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a crane technician or similar role

• Solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics

• Strong safety orientation and knowledge of industry regulations

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel
