Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a qualified Accountant in the Overberg area, Western Cape. Our client, a well-established professional accounting firm in the Overberg region, is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Accountants to join their team. The firm specializes in Accounting, Tax, and Payroll services and provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities within the profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full bookkeeping and accounting functions

  • Prepare and submit tax returns

  • Perform statutory work and compliance-related tasks

  • Prepare annual financial statements and working papers

  • Handle income tax calculations and submissions

  • Resolve accounting and tax-related queries

  • Carry out general administrative duties


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles

  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative

  • Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills
