Hire Resolve’s client, a leading financial services company in Pretoria, is seeking a dynamic Call Centre Sales Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role is crucial in managing prospecting and existing clients within South Africa.

As the first point of contact for new customer inquiries, you will play a key role in ensuring these are directed to the appropriate channels. The role involves outbound calls (no cold calling).


Responsibilities

  • Ensure all group targets are consistently met within every measurement period.

  • Manage and maintain leads effectively to reach required conversion rates.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Keep the team motivated and committed to achieving set goals.

  • Provide continuous feedback to senior management.

  • Offer ongoing guidance and mentorship to consultants.

  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues and other departments.

  • Act as a role model and demonstrate how results are achieved.

  • Monitor staff activity levels and productivity.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

  • Manage staff-related issues, including performance management and disciplinary procedures.

  • Investigate and implement new initiatives to enhance department efficiency and sales generation.

  • Play an active role in the recruitment of new staff members.


Requirements
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong track record.

  • Matric certificate required.

  • Outbound sales experience – following up with clients.

  • Inbound experience – handling inquiries and leads.

  • 5-8 years of call centre sales experience within the financial industry, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of competitor offerings in the financial sector.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

  • Willingness to mentor salespeople and develop their industry knowledge.

  • Highly deadline-driven and target-oriented.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (both spoken and written).

  • Computer literate with excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong team player who can build consensus within diverse groups.

  • Resilient under pressure and achievement-oriented
