- Credit Assessments: Review and assess the financial history of applicants (individuals or entities) to determine creditworthiness.
- Risk Analysis: Conduct risk and affordability assessments, presenting findings to management.
- Application Processing: Handle applications for credit facilities and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Securities Management: Oversee the establishment of securities for approved credit facilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external parties, including auditors and banks.
- General Administration: Manage office administration tasks and resolve customer inquiries.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks as required within the finance department.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Law.
- Membership of the Institute for Credit Control (preferred).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in credit analysis or financial services.
- Strong analytical, financial, and administrative skills.
- Ability to interpret audited financial statements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for interactions with auditors and financial institutions.
- Understanding of credit risk regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience with financial analysis software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong accuracy and problem-solving skills to ensure precise financial assessments.
- Ability to manage complex financial assessments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of self-awareness and achievement orientation.
