Job Title: Engineering Superintendent: Instrumentation - Mining - Mpumalanga

Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa

Overview:
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Superintendent specializing in Instrumentation for the mining industry in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the instrumentation department, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and optimized for peak performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the instrumentation department, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for all instrumentation equipment within the mining operation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and inspections
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime
- Train and mentor instrumentation staff, ensuring that they are up-to-date on all equipment and procedures
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to source needed parts and services
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices to improve instrumentation processes and systems

Requirements:
- Grade 12
- N6 Certificate with Engineering Subjects (Instrumentation) and Valid Trade Test in Instrumentation
  Mechanician
- 3 years Coal Processing Plant Experience and knowledge on Siemens PLC’s, SCADA and Programming.

Benefits:
- Salary: R1.5m – R1.9m CTC
